Sing the praises of deceptionSing the praises of deception   
She could never live in promises.            They would wash over her in waves and whirlpools,  Then drain away without a trace.  And she would be suffocating on just plain air.   
Wishes were always like compulsive liars,            Because she once had three, casted on shooting stars, pennies, and dandelions.  One was for a prince in a fairytale castle, two was for a healed heart, and three was just for time.  The cracks in the heart will let the sands of time Sing the praises of deception

Careful, they're rosesCareful, they're roses   
She watched as roses dropped at the feet of others.  Crimson red and full of life. Smooth stems, no thorns.  And at her feet were wilted roses, dropped by shrewd impostors, pretending to be princes.  But she takes them anyway.  How is she to know that they're liars and schemers?  
 
But of course, wilted roses are barely alive to begin with.  
And the pretenders would leave as the petals began to drift away.  
Then she would pick up another wilted rose.  And each time the rose came apart, her heart would too.

Okay, so it's definitely been a while since I've written a journal entry, so I thought I should write one x]

Hm, first off, I'm very grateful to everyone who has faved or commented on my work, and of course, I'm very grateful to the watchers. It's nice to know that what I've done is being appreciated :]

Second, some of you may have noticed that the stuff in my gallery is totally not limited to only one type of art. That's because my interests tend to flutter around and I like to try different things. Once I've tried everything, the cycle begins again and I try to improve on everything I've tried xP One thing I'll most likely not be trying, however, is drawing. I just suck at it. I mean, I'm not TERRIBLE, but my drawing skills are not even close to being comparable to the artists of dA. I can doodle, and that's pretty much it. I absolutely LOVE photography though, although that tends to be a little bit limited at the moment due to lack of a better camera. Needless to say, my camera sucks at indoor pictures. Sometimes it can take AMAZING pictures outdoors, but those are the lucky moments. Hopefully I'll be getting an SLR camera for Christmas.
